women women women!! i was so excited to curate a women-only episode of velvet in preparation for friday's (4/19) 24-hour-women-only broadcast. when i think of women, i think of my mom – my forever inspiration! growing up, my mom would play her favorite genres of gospel, soul, and r&b; however, i never appreciated the music nor her love for such music ... what a full-circle moment that i'm now the host of velvet (lol)! today, i am highlighting some of the soul/r&b women greats of all time ... cha
