Hemispherios is WREK’s first Hispanic specialty show and one of the only Latin Rock shows on the radio in the U.S. Often overshadowed by other rhythms, Latin Rock emerged in Latin America during the 60s and 70s off of the influence of the American and British rock scenes. Ever since, the style has evolved by blending-in with other Hispanic as well as non-Hispanic rhythms such as Salsa, Tango, Jazz and Reggae, to bring delightful tunes into our lives. Join us every Monday for some awesome music you won’t hear anywhere else.

Kosher Noise (7:00pm - 8:00pm)

From Ehud Banai to haGevatron, Ofra Haza to Itzhak Perlman, Kosher Noise gives you all the Jewish music your yiddishe mome mandates and so much more. We'll explore the evolution of Israeli music, with just a splash of Jewish artists both foreign and domestic to spice things up. It's a veritable gefilte fish patty of Judaism's most interesting artists, brought to you with the full approval of the high rabbinical council.

North Indian classical music radio, featuring live performances, rare archival recordings and thematic programs.

Your hosts try to prove that African Music really is a "Vast Sprawling Cornucopia of Sound". Fortunately, that's not an especially hard task.
