Coffee and Sushi features chillout, lounge, downtempo, and other electronic music that has been influenced by jazz and funk, among other things. Overall, a wide variety of music within the electronic genre (and a little bit of not so electronic music on occasion) is brought to the show, with vibes also occasionally coming from an eclectic mix of genres such as bossa nova, trip-hop, and house. Coffee and Sushi makes sure that there's no shortage of soulful sounds on the air waves.

collection of vintage 78 rpm records, Joe not only
plays these old time classics, but provides a very
knowledgeable commentary about their origins and the
artists themselves. More quality, diverse music,
